Well done all those actively involved. We will see what the next week brings.
Dogs are animals of integrity. We have much to learn from them.

Oh my word! I hope it’s soon under control and yes – respect to those working so hard.
Curiously, I used to work for a company based in Grant’s Pass, so I have actually been there. It’s devastating to see the destruction.

Welcome to the blog and we hope to see you again. You voice what all of us living here hope, that the fire is soon under control. We live in Merlin that is about four miles away.

Thank you, that is very kind of you. Yes, it is a very good time to have a dog’s outlook on life! (And I have just read that Rum Creek is now 27% contained!)

Whew. I am relieved to hear that. It sounds like there is a way to go, but they are going in the right direction. xx

I have just come back from a bike ride, my first in 7 days. When I left it was gin clear but about half way through my chosen route, some 16 miles, the smoke came in and it was pretty bad when I returned home. In other words, it all depends on the wind and even a gentle breeze in the wrong direction can change things dramatically; as I found out!
But the essence of your kind remark is spot on. They are gradually gaining control.
