Dogs are animals of integrity. We have much to learn from them.
Learning from Dogs 
Lenny and I are good examples of the first picture. We are, as you know, rescues, and we have vague and distant memories of our previous lives. Lenny seems to sometimes have clearer memories than I do, especially when it comes to food. He will always wait at a very respectful distance if people are eating or making his breakfast or dinner. He will try to snatch a treat every now and then but we are working on him being more polite at all times. That said. we are looked after to within an nth of a degree so we have everything that we could want, with love and security providing the over-riding blanket to our lives.

Thank you. I too am pleased that Lenny and I have the comfort of knowing we are loved and that, whatever happens, that love and protection will not diminish.
