Dogs are animals of integrity. We have much to learn from them.

I do love a perrie!
I’ve only ever seen a few in my life. One of my most unforgettable experiences was watching a pair of perries harassing a White Tailed Sea Eagle on the Isle of Skye.

That was an unforgettable experience, as you said, Jacqueline. I don’t suppose you have some photographs of that?

Sadly not, although if I did, they would be like most of my photos of eagles – spots in the sky!
I have such admiration for those who take such magnificent photos of wildlife.

I guess that is what I expected you to say, Jackie. I also guess that Alex is a photographer who you admire and with a bit of luck we will see his photographs every fortnight. He is coming to see us towards the end of June!

Sorry for the delay in responding to your comment, Monika. I took advantage of the fine weather to go biking. Yes, these photos are, as you say “truly exquisite”.

Apologies not necessary, Paul. Glad you were able to take advantage of good biking weather.

Thank you, Monika. Yes, the more important roads have decent shoulders that make cycling so much safer and, subject to weather, I endeavor to ride every other day. That is in the order of 75 miles a week. Mind you, speaking of safety, that didn’t stop me from falling a few years ago and a week later being hospitalized with two sub dural bleedings! As they say there’s no fool like an old fool!
