Linda, so what do you do when the dogs cannot ground you? Dogs are so precious!

I follow their lead and try to be still and patient, loyal and observant… but my mind seems to be more busy than theirs, so I practice my mindfulness, breath slower, deeper, and try to stay in the moment!

It is so easy for our dogs yet for us humans so hard. Your list of mindfulness themes is brilliant and I am trying very hard to take several breaks a day doing nothing. However the jury is still out on that one! 😉

Practice, practice, practice … the hardest thing is remembering yourself that taking a break is not lazy or wasteful – you need the you time!
