Springtime in Oregon
There are plenty more of those wonderful pictures and cartoons to come to come from Janet Goodbrod.
But a few days ago there were so many beautiful flowers blooming in the Spring sunshine that I couldn’t resist taking photographs of them and sharing them with you. All from home! (Apart from the young tree and the cows on our neighbour’s property for while not being flowery , nonetheless, they seemed to speak to me about springtime.)

Don’t ask me what the names of the various flowers are!
I love the brilliant colors of your flowers, Paul! It looks positively wonderful where you are!

Thanks Susan. Yes, it is a rather special little rural corner of Southern Oregon. Found by Jean and me quite by chance in 2012. Thirteen acres of which about half is still pristine wild forest. None of those flowering plants has been put in by us.

Beautiful. My favorite are the cow flowers. It’s summer here. 83 today 90 tomorrow! I’ll be a puddle on the floor. But the plants love the heat and sun.
