It is a New Year!

And I want to return to publishing posts!

My last post was about an accident that I had on the 17th November, last.

Jean is now back home; she came home on Friday, 13th December. However, every day we have a caregiver at home for part of the time. Jean is getting slowly better. I would estimate that at about one percent a day.

I am unsure as to the pattern of my posts. Whether I should go back to scheduling posts three times a week or publish posts on an ad-hoc basis. That will become clearer over the next few weeks.

I am going to start with publishing posts on an ad-hoc basis.

Meanwhile here in Merlin we have had loads of rain.

Bummer Creek

This is the creek that flows across the lower part of the property.

  1. Happy to see you back, and may this year be brighter than the year just passed. Ad hoc is good, as I think it lets you adjust back into the process, as well as looking after the other very important person in your house.

  2. Thanks for checking in and letting us know how you are doing, Paul. I’m grateful to know that things are headed in a positive direction, even though it sounds challenging.

Looking forward to your posts when you are in the mood to write!

Fast moving water in your creek!
Lots of rain here in Vermont as well, but nowhere near what I suspect you are getting.

Please don’t forget to take care of yourself so that you can help Jean! Don’t forget to be gentle with yourself!

    Prayers and Blessings – Paul

  3. My thoughts on posts is to do it when it feels right. You have enough on your plate right now to add more demands on yourself. Reach out when you want to. I’m glad you are home. Was there someone taking care of your animals while you were gone? I was wondering how you were doing. Thanks for the update. We could use some of that rain here.

    1. I wasn’t gone for the month, Marlene, but almost every day, Dordie, a good neighbour of ours, was taking me down to see Jeannie in hospital in Medford. So I was back every night to feed and love the dogs. But it is more than grand to have Jeannie back home.
