Although I have nothing against it in particular, I was tempted to respond to this by posting information regarding WD-40’s toxicity and persistence in the environment; and its carcinogenic and mutagenic properties. However, it would seem that WD-40’s ingredients are still a mystery (but if so how on Earth did it get a licence to be sold to the public?), which has led to all sorts of myths about what is in it:
