I came across this YouTube video while looking for something else.

Learning from Dogs 
Oddly, I saw this one on YouTube today! I spend all my time watching dogs, kittens and other animals all day long. I had a dog like that years ago. She would move her mouth and try to make words. I know she understood every word we said. She was our first dog and the only one I picked out myself. Her mother was a friends dog and she slept on my chest every night until she was completely housebroken a couple of weeks later. Smart beyond words. I support many of the animal sites on YouTube including We rate dogs. My daughter introduced me to that one.
