  1. Well I do have some frozen fruit for smoothies. Some of which I have frozen myself from fruit I grow. I also freeze tofu which then I thaw in the morning for lunch that day. I don’t know how I discovered it, but when I ran a restaurant, and froze tofu this way and thought it and then squeezed it between paper towel towels? The texture is incredible. What else? Oh then there’s meat for the dog. Fish for us. Dog bones. But most things we can get fresh here on the island, so I’m happy to be back where we get so much fresh and so much out of our backyard! 🙏💗

      1. Oh you’re really asking some loaded questions there! 😂 the restaurant was on the Penobscot river in Bangor Maine. We moved to Hawaii when I decided to pull free from that commitment. And that is where Bela got to learn more about boundaries than she ever thought she would need. I had a business partner who was shit, entitled, whatever. I was doing all the work and raising two little girls. She was sauntering and when she felt like it and leaving when she felt like it. It was a lot of work. I don’t regret it. Wish I’d been smarter, but now I am! 😉

      2. Bela, twenty-twenty hindsight is such a wonderful thing. It strikes me that you were smarter than the average person. Plus, being able to talk about it on a relatively open channel is great!

      3. Oh, yes. I’m always happy to talk about something if it serves others. Although we might not make the same mistakes, we make our own. Again and again. Then again, mistakes are learning curves, if we embrace the opportunities. ♥️
