Thank you! We’re all in fine fettle after a French farmhouse Christmas. We had a break from travelling for a couple of months, but are back on the road in the New Year, Morocco bound. 🙂
That sounds like a great break; something the French do rather well. As much as we adore living here in Southern Oregon, in the forest and seeing Mount Sexton close by, I still miss France and the French. When I was very young we always had our family summer holiday in France.
I do love France and the French. And the Languedoc, near Carcassonne, where we are at the moment, is particularly friendly! We were invited to show our truck, The Beast, at a local vintage car rally and then got another invite to see Jaques Cousteau’s hovercraft from the Calypso. Along with a Citroen 2CV which had also been converted into a hovercraft…
We’re surrounded by countryside, right on the Camino de Santiago, which has been wonderful for The Fab Four, so all in all, our French break has been a success! 🙂
Your pad in Oregon sounds wonderful, though. I worked for a company based there and remember walking in the area around Grant’s Pass, it was lovely.
We are 14 miles Northwest of Grants Pass in Merlin. As long as I have my faculties this where I am are living and Jean, despite her Parkinson’s, absolutely agrees with me. And when my faculties disappear then that’s the end.
Right back at you, Paul 😊
Happy Holidays!
