My feelings when I look at these pictures are nothing new but that doesn’t diminish at all my despair at these poor dogs. At least there are a few photographs of people loving them but they are intelligent, caring animals and in an ideal world we wouldn’t have strays.

That ideal world seems as far away as ever and, to me, just underlines the impossibility of the powerful living peacefully with the weak.

On the surface at this present moment in time it may seem an impossible task… But nothing in my book is ever impossible when you hold faith within..
Peace starts within each of us, and only when each of us decides not to take sides and divide ourselves continually into left and right, etc… etc… Two parties, with hate and prejudices .. Yes on the surface it appears impossible..
But in creating our own inner worlds of reality through love, peace, and unity.. We expand those ripples outwards into the world..
We may not see in those years of peace dear Paul… But many people are helping create that world as we change Consciousness into seeing War crimes as Unacceptable ..

Dear, dear Sue, how I wish this would come about, especially in what is left of my life. But I doubt it. I am 79 on November 8th and although reasonably fit and active for my age I am certain that I will die without seeing those changes that you speak of. I was born in London six months before the end of WWII and my hope has always been that the global ‘we’ would turn their backs on war and carnage. I do not think there are any signs. But do you have a more positive outlook?

You are the epitome of being positive, Sue, and I wish I was half as good as you. I get too worked up by the international news and leading commentators on big issues. But I acknowledge that it is pointless! Jean is much wiser! Thank you in advance for the birthday wishes; that is kind of you. ❤️ So you are 70 in 2024. You are entering the decade of increasing health activities so be healthy as well as positive! Indeed a positive frame of mind is proven to be a valuable component of being healthy. (But I can’t remember where I read that! 😕 )
