My Mac is playing up.
Dear good people,
Yesterday I updated my iMac and ended up with a dark screen.
Apple Support recommended me downloading and reinstalling the latest O.S.
This morning I still can’t get my Apple to behave normally.
I have no option other than to take it into a local Grants Pass computer technician and see if he can make sense of the issue.
In the meantime normal service will be somewhat curtailed.
Oh… I hope the problem is resolved soon!

Marina, thanks. As it happened I disconnected my external hard drives and the LAN and, hey presto, I was back in action!

I need to slowly reconnect bits and pieces, something that I will do in a while!

Hopefully this will get resolved soon and won’t be too expensive for you. A good Mac person is a good thing to have!

Bela, in the end there was no need to seek a technician. I managed to sort it out.
