Serious question: I’m not surprised that the dog is smart but need to know how you keep that dog’s sharp nails (even when trimmed) from gouging a leather sofa. Perhaps because I’ve only had big dogs, “having pets” means accommodations for furniture & giving up the bedspreads I’d love to have.
