I have stood mesmerised for hours watching a sand artist at work – all was unclear until he stood back from his work and there was a giant turtle with all her babies trailing behind her. What is extraordinary is that most of these wondeful works of art will be lost very quickly either as the tide reaches high on the beach or because the sand dries out and crumbles…..thankfully again someone captured them for all of us to enjoy and to keep forever.
