Paul loved these photos loved the Wet Dog’s face, brought home a memory of when I went a walk and had a newish beige coloured coat on, and a Labrador of the same colouring whose owner was leaning heavily on his walking stick in the distance on a wet muddy lane, tried to shout his beloved dog back…. But too late.. The Labrador took one look at my coat and set off full pelt ignoring shouts of stop and high whistles to heal… He headed straight for me at full pelt, …. and Leapt up as I half turned to stem the impact of such a big dog as he nearly bowled me over.. The look on that Labrador’s face was wide eyed and full of mischief… and who could tell him off, as my newish coat was now covered in black muddy paw prints, as the owner eventually caught up as he cursed his disobedient four legged friend muttering his apologies .. I had obviously become this Labrador’s newest love as he continued to lick and fuss me…
    A Day I shall never forget, as a friend had lost her dog only the week before and I had been walking thinking of them… . It was as if the Dog had been delivering a message, and of course I past it on… with love and paws licks.. 🙂
