This is a deeply fascinating history.
There are many articles on this subject and it is one that I will return to from time to time.
But for today I want to just show a seven-minute video from YouTube.
Amazing!
Dogs are animals of integrity. We have much to learn from them.

Fabulous! A brain arms race is a good way of phrasing it. She didn’t mention it, but in the end, the super weapon was cooked meat.

Thanks John. Indeed there was much left out of this short talk. Such as how parts of the brain are involved in the simple task of reaching for an apple, or how the evolution of the brain caused eyes to move to the front of the head, a sure sign of increasing intelligence, or how searching for food, mainly fruit, required increased abilities such as memory, social interactions, and much more.
However a seven-minute video was a good start to a fascinating topic, my next video will be longer and thank goodness for YouTube!

Absolutely. Great video. More people (espécially in the US) need to watch.

Many thanks for your added reply, John. Yesterday I found two more YouTube videos, both much longer, that we need to watch first but I suspect will enhance the topic.
Why did you include that especially people in the US should watch the video?

Because it appears ‘smarts’ aren’t quite as common as they should be up there 🙂
