A few photographs from home.

The three deer photos show them feeding from me putting out COB (corn, oats, barley) each morning soon after it is light.
Of course, typically the morning I took my camera out there were just four deer. Usually there between seven and fifteen and a couple of months ago a friendly stag in getting to the COB as I was pouring it out rubbed his right antler on my right leg.
Feeding my friends!

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

Jet streams… I have seen before…
It’s the pictures of the deer that I particularly love. And I think you are brave to get so close to them even though they are usually gentle creatures.

I would have guessed it was the deer photos. As I said in the post, usually there are more deer than that morning and I needed a monopod because the shutter speed was so low. It was almost as if the deer were anticipating an unusual event. I have been feeding them for years and it is the highlight of my day! On certain mornings the animals are so friendly that they crowd around me as I pour the COB into the many small piles. Thank you again!

And I forgot to ask you whether you live in a place where deer frequently call by?

I am in a small town in northern Vermont (population 10,000)… Small dairy farm country. I don’t need to drive too far to see deer. But I do not go sightseeing often enough. So you are reminding me of what is truly important. Thanks for that!

Lovely! Shame though that you have to drive to see the deer.

I totally agree. My previous two homes were further out in the country, and I hope to move there again.
