My grandson comes to the rescue!
A week ago I had no idea where more dog pictures were coming from.
Then in an email conversation with my grandson, Morten, up came this: Pixabay and their folder of dog photos!

Hopefully, thanks to Morten, this will run and run!
Love these pictures. Especially the last one.

PS Three cheers for Morten! (But if pixabay runs dry, you could try Unsplash too. I’ve been using that recently for inspiration for flash fiction.)

That looks good as well. I hope Morten sees your comment, I’ll send him an email soon.

I’ve been writing about puppy scams recently and I’ve seen many of these photos on scam sites. Puppy scams are up 70% in the month of April.

Firstly, a warm welcome to this place and we hope to see you again soon. Next, are you saying that Pixabay are to be questioned about these photographs? For if that’s the case then I shall use them no more.

Oh, no. I was surprised that’s where they got them. I’ve been looking at page after page of the same dogs for sale, and then to see them here. It was just a surprise.

That’s a relief, Cynthia.

Sorry, I didn’t realize it sounded like an accusation.

No, not at all! It was just a relief that I wasn’t, in my innocence, assisting a scammer.

It’s so wonderful that there are people out there who know how to take good photos of animals. Loved these. Thanks.
