Slowly returning to our regular life.
My daughter, son-in-law and grandson came to the end of their week’s stay with us yesterday morning.
It felt very strange after they had gone and we had got the house back to some form of order (my grandson is a very lively five-year-old!).
To be honest, I wasn’t feeling very communicative in the afternoon when I sat down to get today’s post ready.
So can I leave you with this photograph of Morten, my grandson, thanking his grandad for a rather special tractor experience!

Paul, what a beautiful moment with your adorable grandson! A photo to treasure! 🎉 Elizabeth

Elizabeth, thank you! Probably the most exquisite moment of the whole week.

Yes, great contrast in many different ways. Especially as we have a very busy week ahead of us. Thanks Val.

We are presently eight hours behind UK time. You have posted photographs of your lovely allotment on your blog, if I recall correctly.

Golly the photo made me cry. Lots of memories there for both of you. A kiss from your grandson to keep in your memory and heart and a photo to look at when you miss him and his parents. They are close in your heart yet so many miles away. I’m sure you were sad to have to say goodbye.

Yes, of course! But also hoping that Jean and I stay sufficiently healthy that one year Morten can come to stay with us unaccompanied so we can build a closer relationship. Loved your reply, by the way. 😊
