Rogue Valley Humane Society!

Well done the team!

Yesterday morning Jean and I travelled the short distance into Grants Pass to visit Margaret and the rest of the team at Rogue Valley Humane Society, RVHS. As their website proclaims: Helping Our Community, Four Paws at a Time.

Here’s why we went to meet the team.

Going to write a little more about the Humane Society tomorrow.

      It’s been a while since we were over at the Society’s premises and yesterday was a very wet day weather wise.

      But the atmosphere of care and loving and happiness for what these good people were doing was unmistakable!

      Something you and your dear lady would recognize from your support of MaxMello down there in Bazil.

      1. I have so much admiration for the rescuers, like Jean was in Mexico. They have the biggest hearts, and see the absolute worst of things.

      2. You know I had never realized that before, the two sides of the coin as it were. Despite Jean having said she could never be a volunteer at RVHS for she wouldn’t be able to stop bringing dogs home! Not sure I could even face the pain of seeing so many dogs and cats in need.

      3. And to rescue the abused ones. To find them, then live in that lag time before they are freed. I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I don’t have the disposition for it. I’d be physically ill.
