Our beautiful young German Shepherd is one year old today.
How time flies! How life moves on!
On the 8th April, 2012, I wrote a piece about the arrival of Cleo into our home in Payson, Arizona. Then on the 26th April, I added a few more pictures to say how well Cleo was setting in. (I include the links in case you want to look at the pictures in those posts.)
Cleo was born on the 23rd January, 2012. Thus today is her first birthday. She has grown into the most loving, friendly dog and she is adored by all who meet her.
Here’s a picture of Cleo from last year.

Now two pictures taken this week. This first one showing Cleo lifting her head to the camera.
The next one showing Cleo and Sweeny having one of their frequent ‘kiss ins‘.
Finally, a picture of Cleo enjoying our recent snows.
We are so fortunate to share our lives with these beautiful creatures.

Lovely. Happy birthday dear Cleo 🙂

Adorable photos, Paul. Is Cleo for sale? However, if you will forgive me for behaving like the President of the RSPCA (i.e. the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Apostrophes), I do not see why “kiss-ins” needs an apostrophe (as it appears to be just a plural)! 🙂

🙂 I did ponder on that at the time of writing. Will amend when at my PC rather than trying to use this Kindle. (And now done at 9:15 am)

If it were otherwise he would be called “Cleobury” or “Mortimer”! If completely baffled by this comment, please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleobury_Mortimer 🙂

Cleo is sleeping next to me as I reply to your dear comment. The clock has just struck 6am and it’s still dark. I woke up about 15 minutes ago with my arm around Cleo’s warm mid-riff. It doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks Sue.

Yes, I saw those snow figures from the UK Met Office reports that, for some strange reason, I still have coming to me. So glad you got a little bit of ‘warmth’ from the pics. Cleo is the most gorgeous of dogs and will handsomely continue my love affair with German Shepherds when Mr. P. goes to that dog kennel in the sky.
