Pray for our planet this year!
This was emailed to me a couple of weeks ago. Have no background information as to where the photograph was taken and, indeed, what type of bird it is! But, nonetheless, just a beautiful reminder of the wonderfully, precious planet that we all, and I mean all, live on.
Learning from Dogs 
It is a beautiful picture and bird(s). I feel funny saying it, but to me, it looks like a pigeon or mourning dove. I don’t know if either of those birds have such amazing colors, but the head/neck are quite similar. I hope you’ll get a commenter on here who can tell you what kind of bird it is.

What a beautiful photo, to me too it looks very much like a pigeon, but like 4amWriter says the colours are very bright … Wishing you a Peaceful weekend.. and I pray for Nature most days as I send out my thoughts
