Hi Paul. Yes, indeed it is one of the smaller states. I am all the way across to the other (eastern) side of the country from you in New England. If you know where New York is, there’s a lake called Lake Champlain that separates New York from the next state to the east, which is Vermont.
So Vermont is located roughly between New York to its west, and the state of Maine to its east… That’s close enough.
Many years ago I used to come to New York, flying in from Heathrow, England. That was when I had my own business, from 1968 until 1976. I had two distributors, one serving the Eastern half of the USA, and one serving the Western half. The latter was Dan Gomez who, now that we are living in Oregon, is a close friend. He lives in Southern California. Never thought I would be living very happily with Jeannie here in Merlin.
These are beautiful photos, Paul.
I hope one day I get to see “your part of the country”. Warm Regards – Paul
