Probably about 10am PDT today!
Just a short update to say that discussions that I had yesterday afternoon with the Discharge Officer at Regency Care, Julia H., resulted in Jean being ready to be collected by me this morning.
It is a great advance although Jean and I will have a whole series of different situations to deal with. But they will be dealt with one at a time.
The kindness shown by both the staff and Regency and our friends is overwhelming. Thank you everyone!
That is wonderful news!!!!!!!! All the best, my dear friend and a swift recovery for Jean! Hugs to both!

Marina, thank you so much. Jean’s recovery will be complicated by her having Parkinson’s but her hip joint is the top priority.

With you next to her, everything will be easier! 😉 One step at a time.

Well I am not sure about that, Marina! Sometimes I think I am a hindrance (only joking)! But, yes, it is one step at a time for sure! Thank you very much for your kind response.

That is great news. Maybe she is home already? If so I hope it is all going well. I wish her a speedy recovery and that things will be easy on you.

Thomas, Jeannie was brought home by me late yesterday morning. And so far things are going very well. I think, and hope, Jean will recover soon and we have a doctor’s appointment on the 28th of this month to see how things are progressing. It is already easier on me, thank you!

Yes! Home is best, regardless. Speedy healing, as far as possible. ❤️

You are so right, Bela, about home being best. Mind you, the weird thing was the reaction of the dogs. They were pleased to see Jean but nothing out of the usual in terms of their greetings. It was if we had been out for an hour!

Wise beasts. I am convinced they know far more than we do in some ways, and minus the fear, just live on a continuum until they or we are gone(!)
