Our funniest, best friends.

Couldn’t postpone this for you!

Yesterday was another one of those days where everything seemed to be squeezing in on me. Not in a negative fashion just stuff that had to be done; and that before I even got to the book!

So when I sat down mid-afternoon to think about today’s post, trying to ignore the beautiful day it was here in Merlin, Oregon and how I really wanted to take a bike ride, I wasn’t particularly creative of thought; to say the least! 😉

Thus when I saw the email from Cynthia Scobey that included a link to the following video I would have hugged her had she been in the same room!

Settle back for ten minutes and forget about the funny old world we seem to be living in just now!

(Not so much this funny old world but more about this funny old fart who is the author of this blog. For when I was screening this post to Jeannie yesterday evening she quickly pointed out that we had seen this before. Indeed, we had. Back on the 19th October! Sorry folks!)

Our wonderful, gorgeous, loving, care-free dogs!

Thank you, Cynthia!

Another pause!

More beautiful pictures from Cynthia G.

A couple of weeks ago, I published a selection of photographs from a number of pictures that had been sent to me by Cynthia.  I named the post Small pause today and it received 25 ‘Likes’ and favourable comments including one from Pedantry that simply said, “More of the same, please! :)

So to Pedantry and all you other dear readers, here comes more of the same!

More interlude pics!

More ‘switch-off’ material!

There was a fantastic response to the Interlude Post that came out on the 6th March so I thought I would offer some more of those wonderful pictures.  As I said in that earlier Post, ” Cynthia, the wife of Dan Gomez, emailed me a set of wonderful photographs that had come to her from sister-in-law Suzann.”  So here are some more.  Have a peaceful and relaxed Sunday!

Did you see that!
Hey, I heard that comment!
Mummy, are we nearly there?
We can't go on meeting like this!
Well you guys don't taste that different!
One more time! I'm in charge around here!

Suzann/Cynthia – Please, please, please send more!

More beautiful world.

More fabulous pictures.

This is how I introduced the first set of pictures on the 22nd October.

Regular readers will have seen that Cynthia S. has contributed some lovely items to Learning from Dogs. To be honest, if it wasn’t for the support of so many readers  and the contributions that regularly come to my in-box, I would have long ago stopped writing.  Anyway, a couple of weeks back Cynthia forwarded an email to me that had a series of the most beautiful nature photographs.  So I’m going to reserve showing these over a number of week-end days to serve as a very restful and peace-inspiring alternative to the crazy world that most of us ‘enjoy’ during the working week.

Here’s the first four pictures of those fabulous pictures,

“Be who you are and say what you feel….
Because those that matter…
don’t mind…
And those that mind… don’t
matter.”

Here are the next set of four.
