Learning from Dogs 
Is that photo for real, Paul? It is hard to see how it could have been faked (with the rake wrapped round the dogs paws, etc)? If it is real, the dog trainer has done a remarkable job… On the subject of cleaning up after ourselves, you are no doubt alluding to one of Bill Mckibben’s favourite talking points – fossil fuel companies are the only ones who get to pollute the environment for free. As it happens, I was trying to explain to someone recently what an MA in Environmental Politics is all about, and found myself (tweaking the tagline of my blog) saying, “It allowed students to learn about the politics underlying our mismanagement of the environment and all the problems that it is causing”.
