2005 – 2010 Residing in Washington D.C. area writing a book Voice and Noise, Booksurge 2006, participating in seminars and working on issues related to banking regulations, mostly in developing countries, and heading a debate in Venezuela for Oil Revenue Sharing and the elimination of the subsidized price of gasoline. I publish weekly articles in Venezuela and keep a couple of blogs fairly active. I also enrolled in the CFA program, having passed level 1 and, in June 2009 I completed all exam requirements to act as a Mortgage Loan Officer and a real-estate salesperson in Maryland
2002 – 2004 Executive Director at the World Bank for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain and Venezuela.
1974 – 2002 Many and various professional experiences, mostly in Venezuela, in most areas sectors like industry, agriculture, tourism and banking, water electricity utilities, nothing with oil, and covering many facets, like marketing financial strategic planning, asset recovery and workout as manager, consultant and owner.
1997 – Op-Ed writer in Venezuela with over 600 articles published in Spanish and English on a wide range of economic and social topics,
