Monika, One has to be very careful in the heat. I was just listening to the BBC’s World at One programme that had an item on staying cool especially for the elderly and those with certain diseases. It was very good advice!

Most definitely-the body must respect extreme heat periods. We’re staying well hydrated and laying low. Hope you, Jeanne and the pooches do the same.

Luckily we have air conditioning here but the consequences for many, especially the homeless, are worrying. I don’t know but there seem to be so many things that can trouble one these days. Hopefully it is just my ageism getting in the way!

Life these days can be particularly for the poor or disadvantaged. The city has designated all recreational centers and libraries as cooling centers so those without AC can stay safe. Let’s hope it’s enough for them. 🤞🏼
