Just a few memories of the last week.
Our English guests, Mark and Debbie, who stayed with us after traveling to Warm Springs, South-East of Portland, Oregon, to view the eclipse took the following three photographs.

Thanks Irene. Yes, Mark and Debbie were not disappointed with their very long journey from Devon to Oregon.

I was set to view the eclipse but was thwarted by a cloud covering so I totally missed it. Thanks for these pictures. They are very crisp & I feel as if I actually observed it. I appreciate it, Paul!

Oh, how unfortunate! Where was that? At least there is no shortage of pictures and videos online; to say the least!

Love the dog pics and the one of Ms Brandt with her owls. Those pics by Ms. Brandt and her partner are not made with cheap cameras or lens or some extra lighting help. They have some expensive equipment and know how to use it. The light, the color and the clarity are absolutely superb.

Yvonne, exactly my judgment. Tanja Brandt has given me details of her background that I am having translated into English by Chris Snuggs. More soon!
